The city of Lakeway is in the heart of the Lake Travis ISD and was built as resort community with golf courses, tennis courts, marinas, and a private airport. There are many gorgeous communities within the Lake Travis area.
 
Spanish Oaks, Serene Hills, Falconhead, Rough Hollow, Sweetwater, and Apache Shores are among the coveted communities in Lake Travis ISD. In addition to enjoying access to Lake Travis, these areas are the gateway to the Texas Hill Country.
 
Residents enjoy proximity to the Bee Cave’s Hill Country Galleria with fabulous shopping and dining in addition to a Whole Foods market. Another popular destination is the Oasis Texas, a waterfront outdoor mall and entertainment venue that sits 400 feet above Lake Travis’ southeast shore. The community continues to grow and connect along Highway 620 and Highway 71 which leads toward Marble Falls.
